PEARL THOMPSON PALMER

PINEWOOD - Pearl Thompson Palmer, 99, widow of Bishop Alex "Sonny" Palmer Sr., died on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at McLeod Health Clarendon, Manning.

She was born on April 20, 1921, in Berkeley County, a daughter of the late Isiah and Regina Thompson.

Wake services will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Deliverance Temple, 1161 Amelia St., Orangeburg.

Funeral services for Mrs. Palmer will be held at noon on Thursday at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, with Pastor Antonio Gathers officiating, Apostle Van Freeman presiding, and Bishop P.F. Chambers and Pastor Henry Simmons assisting. Burial will follow at House of God Miracle Temple, Davis Station.
