PAUL L. WRIGHT

Paul Lee Wright, 63, husband of Connie G. Wright, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

Born in North Augusta, he was a son of the late Harold L. and Dorothy Reed Wright. Mr. Wright was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, where he served as a member of the choir for many years. He was employed by the city of Sumter as a Swan Lake park ranger.

Survivors besides his loving wife include two sons, Ashley Paul Wright (Tecca) of Durham, N.C., and Randy L. Wright (Kristen) of Pinewood; three grandchildren, Ansley, Laney and Ava; a brother, Doug Wright (Jane) of Walterboro; a sister, Fay Cook of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Dr. Webb Belangia and Pastor Jim Ketchum officiating. Burial followed in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
