PATRICIA ANN SMITH

Patricia Ann Smith, age 84, beloved wife of the Rev. George Lecompte Smith Jr., received her angel wings on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.

Born on Aug. 17, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Billy and Ethel Crow Burke. Mrs. Smith loved the Lord and dedicated her life to his service. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was a woman of faith, strength and moral character and was loved and respected by all who knew her. In addition, she loved baseball and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan.

In addition to her husband of 64 years, the Rev. George Smith, she is survived by four children, Debbie Beach, Gail Turk, Thomas Smith and David Smith; one sister, Martha Diane Burke; one brother, Billy Burk; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Eastside Baptist Church with the Rev. Walt Phillips officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Bullock Funeral Home.
