NORMAN BERNARD POMPEY

Norman Bernard Pompey, 76, husband of Brenda McMillian Pompey, was born on Aug. 10, 1946, in Sumter, a son of the late Oscar and Lucille Barton Pompey. He departed this life on Monday, Jan. 23, 2023, in Lexington.

Public viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Jude Catholic Church, 611 W. Oakland Ave., Sumter, SC 29150.

The family will receive friends at the home, 108 Council St., Sumter, SC 29150 and 15 Rolling Creek Drive, Sumter, SC 29154.

Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
