Mulvaney to speak at Lee County Republican Party barbecue dinner

The Lee County Republican Party will hold a barbecue dinner on Saturday, July 10, at the Cotton Museum, 121 W. Cedar Lane, Bishopville. Doors will open at 5 p.m. with the meal being served at 5:30 p.m.

Guest speaker will be Mick Mulvaney, who served in the S.C. House of Representatives from 2007 to 2009 and in the S.C. Senate from 2009 to 2011. He served as White House chief of staff for President Donald Trump and is the former director of the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. He also served as director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and as the United States special envoy to Northern Ireland.
