COLUMBIA - Last year's Midlands Spring Plant & Flower Festival drew nearly 50,000 visitors, according to a news release from South Carolina Department of Agriculture. This year's festival returns to the State Farmers Market campus Thursday-Sunday, April 10-13.
If you are a gardening pro or you have tons of questions about gardening, the event has you covered. Attendees can shop from among the numerous vendors for plants, garden essentials, Certified South Carolina produce, springtime décor and more, as well as ask Master Gardeners about spring planting.
The four-day event runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the South Carolina State Farmers Market, 3483 Charleston Highway, West Columbia.
Admission and parking are free. A limited quantity of wagons will be available for rent, but visitors are encouraged to bring their own.
