MERRITT GIBSON

Merritt E. Gibson, 102, widower of Helen Hutchison Gibson, passed away at his home in Manning on Saturday, October 30, 2010.

Born July 24, 1908, in Walbridge, Ohio, he was the son of the late John and Lille Mae Castor Gibson. He was a retired telephone repairman, and attended Manning United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a cousin, Charlie Cramer and his wife Sharon of Manning; and two nephews, Marty Hutchison, Calif., and Dan Hutchison of Vancouver, Wash..

He was preceded in death by his wife; and his son, Richard M. Gibson.

Services were held privately. He will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Helen, at a later date in Lake Township Cemetery in Millbury, Ohio.
