MELBA M. DRIGGERS

Melba Marlene Driggers, 46, died June 17 at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

Born on June 14, 1964, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Gene and Ida Mae Cooper Driggers.

Survivors include her significant other, Joe Weston; two children, Brandi Driggers and Christopher Young; a grandchild, Chase Lambert Jr.; a sister, Frances C. Shelley; and six brothers, James A. Cooper (Mattie), Colas W. Cooper, Bobby Cooper (Lynette), Donald N. Cooper (Michelle), Michael O. Cooper and Ray A. "Tony" Cooper.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Honor Mae Cooper Parsons; and a brother, Thomas Eugene Cooper.

Graveside services were held June 19 at Peters Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Ricky West officiating.

Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown handled arrangements.
