MANNING - As the COVID-19 virus continues to impact this area, McLeod Heath would like to remind the community that residents can receive a free virtual screening through its McLeod Telehealth app.

After logging on to the app, individuals who are experiencing fever, sore throat, cough or shortness of breath can receive a virtual screening with a trained medical professional. By using the virtual screening process, individuals will receive a COVID-19 screening as well as the appropriate care without exposing themselves or others to further exposure or sickness. The virtual app will assist in helping to prevent the spread of the infection.

To access the free telehealth screening, log on to McLeodTelehealth.org and then type in the code: COVID19.

Individuals interested in the screening can also log on to McLeodHealth.org to find directions on downloading the app to your Apple or Android device.
