MAYESVILLE - Mariah Elizabeth McClam and James Michael Will, both of Sumter, were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023, at Sublette's Pond House.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Derrick McClam, the granddaughter of Mrs. Martha Cribb and the late Mr. Nelson Cribb and Mrs. Judy McClam and the late Mr. Johnny McClam, and the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Dukes and the late Mr. Curry Dukes, and Mrs. Penny Ewing, all of Sumter. She graduated from Laurence Manning Academy and attended the University of South Carolina Sumter. She is employed by Universal Blastco.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Will of Sumter and the grandson of Mrs. Mary Anne Fuhr and the late Mr. John Fuhr of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Joyce Will and the late Mr. John Will of Horsham, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Sumter High School. He is employed by TCO Construction.
Mr. Brian Lee served as officiant.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an Allure Bridal Madison James ballgown featuring a V-neckline and Mikado button detailing the full length of the train along with a Marionat Cathedral length veil embellished with scattered pearls. She carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas paired with pink and white roses.
Ms. Marlee Cribb and Ms. Maggie Dukes served as maids of honor, with Mrs. Kali Morris as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Madisyn Avant, Mrs. Morgan Will, Mrs. Mary Owens and Mrs. Samantha Will. Miss Lennon Owens and Miss Emma Rose Will served as flower girls.
The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Brian Will, Mr. Kevin Will, Mr. Anderson Owens, Mr. Clay McClam, Mr. Joey Pereira, Mr. Shane Donlon and Mr. Brendan Bonds.
Also participating were Miss Katelyn McLeod and Mr. Dallas Lloyd.
The bride's parents held the reception at Sublette's Pond House.
The bridegroom's parents held the rehearsal party at Sublette's Pond House.
Following a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Sumter.
