Matthew "Mack" Durant, 94, widower of Josephine Wilson Durant, departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
He was born on June 1, 1926, in Elliott, a son of the late Dell and Nettie McCoy Durant.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family requests no visitation at the home.
Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
