MARTHA ELIZABETH MIMS

Graveside services for Martha Elizabeth Mims will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Spirit of The Living God Memorial Gardens, 1106 Waynick St., Sumter, with Pastor Wallace Black officiating.

A public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.

Martha was born on Oct. 31, 1945, in Sumter County, to the late Willis Sumter Sr. and Mary Rogers Baker.

She departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, in Sumter.

She is survived by one brother, Willis Sumter Jr.; two sisters, Mary Ann Kelley and Linda Geddings; a nephew, Wesley Lee; a niece, Deborah Barrett; and a host of additional nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
