MANNING - One of Manning's own returned home to practice medicine at McLeod Health Clarendon.

Michael Ouzts, DO, joined the medical staff at MHC and McLeod Physician Associates.

"I'm excited to have the opportunity to return closer home, build relationships with my patients and really make an impact in the community," Ouzts said.

Ouzts, who previously served as a hospitalist at Tidelands Health, will provide primary care for men, women and children while forging relationships with his patients and their families.

Ouzts and his wife, Dorothy, live in Sumter with their son, Sawyer. When not working, Ouzts said he enjoys time outdoors and with his family.

Ouzts joins Drs. Harry Jordan, Ansel McFaddin, Andrew Reynolds, Hugh Stoddard and Advance Practice Providers Kathrine Coffey, PA-C, James McMahon, FNP, and Emily Miller, PA-C, at Palmetto Adult Medicine.

Ouzts is accepting new patients in his office, 1295 Wilson Hall Road in Sumter, with same and next-day appointments available. For more information or to schedule an appointment with Ouzts, call (803) 905-6800.
