The Manning High School Golden Pride Marching Band, under the direction of Jordan D. Jefferson, competed in the Woodland High School Low Country Battle of the Bands on Sept. 24 and received a rating of Excellent. The band received Best Drum Majors, Best Marching, Best Color Guard and Best Percussion, and took first place in Class 2A.
