Mamie Oliver, 96, died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Center.
Born Dec. 10, 1913, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Adger. She received her formal education in the public schools of Clarendon County.
Survivors include a daughter, Myrtle Taylor of Baltimore, Md.; three grandchildren, all of Baltimore; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 28 at Liberty Hill African Methodist Episcopal Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Summerton Funeral Service.
