Malvoter House Frazier, 76, widow of Herman Frazier, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

Born Sept. 23, 1933, in Davis Station, she was a daughter of the late James House and Louise Watson House Nelson. Mrs. Frazier was a homemaker, a member of St. Matthews AME Church in Davis Station, and the YWCA. She graduated from Scott's Branch High School in 1954.

Survivors include her children, Eva M. Frazier and Gwendolyn (William) Frazier-Cooper, both of Jersey City, N.J., Connie (the Rev. Donnell) Geathers of Woodbridge, Va., Melford A. (Stella) Frazier of Fayetteville, N.C., the Rev. Darrell (Eva) Frazier of Kingstree, Schwann (Angela) Frazier of Pittsburg, Texas, and Kenneth Frazier of Manning; sister, Louise Wright; 12 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 17, at St. Matthews Baptist Church in the Jordan community of Manning with the Rev. Mose Dingle officiating. Burial followed at State Cemetery in Jordan.

The family received friends at 1079 Wimberly Road, Manning.
