Lugoff man wanted in connection to November shooting

The Sumter Police Department is searching for a man wanted in connection to a shooting that injured two people in November.

According to Tonyia McGirt, public information officer of the police department, Terrance Demetrius Hall, 43, of Lugoff, has been reportedly identified as the suspect in a shooting that occurred at an Althea Circle residence last month.

Officers were called to an Althea Circle residence before midnight on Nov. 11 and found two men, both age 29, inside with gunshot wounds. They were taken to Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital and are recovering, McGirt said.

Officers identified Hall as the suspect and efforts to find him are ongoing. Hall is facing attempted murder charges following the shooting, McGirt said.
