LOIS B. TURNER

ROCKVILLE, Md. - Lois Baggette Turner, 92, widow of O.B. "Jake" Turner, died July 4 at a Maryland nursing home.

Born May 15, 1918, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late R.C. and Elizabeth Ridgeway Baggette. She was an English teacher.

She was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Baggette White; and a great-grandson, Alexander Turner.

Survivors include two children, Joseph B. Turner (Linda Hart) of Nashville, Tenn., and Bette Darling (Rick) of Poolesville, Md.; three grandchildren, Scott Turner (Sandy) of Lacrosse, Wis., David Turner (Rita) of Glendale, Calif., and Laura Patton (Travis) of Poolesville; and three great-grandchildren, Dakota Turner, Tanner Turner and Caleb Patton.

Graveside services were held July 9 at Manning Cemetery with the Rev. David Carlson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Association of Kidney Patients, 3505 E. Frontage Road, Suite 315, Tampa, FL 33607.

Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory, 304 N. Church St., Manning, handled arrangements.
