LINDA E. TAYLOR

Linda Elizabeth Taylor, 65, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital.

Born March 8, 1945, she was a daughter of Elizabeth Wilkes Taylor and the late Reese Joye Taylor. She was a former member of Manning First Baptist Church and received her bachelor and masters degrees in psychology and child psychology from Furman University. She was a retired special education teacher.

Survivors besides her mother include two brothers, Joey Taylor (Joyce) and Richard Taylor (Ellen), both of Manning; three nephews, Brent Taylor, Matt Taylor (Joanne) and Dr. Ryan Taylor (Dr. Ginna); and a niece, Beth Giddens (Robbie).

Memorial services were held Aug. 2 at the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Cottone officiating.

The family received friends at the funeral home following services.
