LEVI GREEN

SUMMERTON -- Levi Green died on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Carolinas Hospital System, Florence.

Born June 26, 1945, in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late General and Emma McConico Green.

He is survived by five brothers, Thomas (Dorothy) Green and Willie Lee Green, both of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and Leroy Green, John Henry (Betty) Green and General Green Jr., all of New York, N.Y.; three sisters, Sarah Brunson of Summerton, Grace Wilson of Silver and Mary Jones of Deerfield Beach; a brother-in-law, Moses Johnson of New York, N.Y.; devoted friends, Ella Timmons and Georgia Davis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 15, 2010, at St. Phillip RMUE Church, Pinewood, with the pastor, the Rev. Daniel Green, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Warren Hatcher and the Rev. Bobby McDonald.

The family received friends at the home of his sister, Sarah Green Brunson, 5509 Liberty Hill Church Road, Summerton.
