Letter to the editor: Block grant money not being used to help mobile home owners with repairs

The City of Sumter, South Carolina, and its Community Development Block Grant Program adamantly refuse to spend any money whatsoever, including that received from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, on helping low- to moderate-income owners of mobiles do essential mobile home repairs!
This message has been reiterated by The Family Unit Inc. and by a few Sumter City Council members but is being totally ignored by the Sumter City Administration and by the Sumter City Council.
