Letter to Editor: Thank you for my care at Tuomey after accident

I want to mention what good care and attention I received on June 29 when a minor accident here in town caused my injury. I was caused to fall on Guignard Drive about 9:30 a.m. and became impaled by my left arm on foliage. I wasn't able to get up. Fortunately, three nurses walking on Guignard came across me almost immediately and called EMTs. "Kim" and "Kayla" drove me to the hospital, where Dr. Pate was able to remove the wooden branch. The wound was cleaned, and a friend fetched me. Prisma Health Tuomey did a great job. Many thanks - well taken care of.
