Letter: Thank you to Bullock and staff for all their care in times of need

Posted

This writing is just a big thank you from the bottom of my heart to Harvin Bullock of Bullock Funeral Home and his staff.

On Aug. 3 of this year, our precious fur-baby, Ellie, closed her eyes and went to heaven. We were distraught and not prepared to lose her so soon. There was not a question as to where we would take her. Harvin Bullock has always been there for us. It was into the night, but one call to Harvin, and he personally met us at Bullock. He took Ellie into his care and promised that he would take care of her. And he did, just as loving and gently as we would. We received her back with a beautiful box, certificate and plaque with her paw print and name. I know it will take a while to stop hurting from our loss, but Harvin was with us every step of the way. What a great friend and businessman.

When my father, the Rev. Archie Clay, went to heaven, Harvin and his staff took care of everything for us, starting with going to North Carolina to get him and ending with the beautiful military service. We also entrusted him with my sister Catherine Clay after her journey to heaven. And then my precious friend, Gloria Wendell, went to be with the Lord right after Christmas, and Harvin Bullock took care of every detail.

Every situation has been handled with love and care and professionalism. We could not have asked for more.

One final touch - they send an anniversary card for marking one year of their homegoing. If that isn't precious!

Harvin Bullock and staff - we love and appreciate you.

God bless you.
