Letter: Sumter would benefit from Merchant being elected as mayor

I feel that the Sumter community would benefit from the unifying leadership, inclusive vision, blue-collar work ethic, unwavering commitment and strong character that David Merchant provides on a daily basis as a father, business owner, public representative and friend. I can't think of a better person to lead Sumter in 2021 and beyond.
