Lee Central High's James honored as Counselor of the Month for June contest

Lee Central High School's Anjennette James was recognized on Tuesday for winning Counselor of the Month, presented by Morris College, for June. The college sponsors the contest to be administered by The Sumter Item to recognize high school counselors in Sumter, Clarendon and Lee counties. Nominations can still be made for October's series through Oct. 15. Three finalists will be chosen by Item staff, and the public votes on the winner.
