Law enforcement searching for Clarendon County Detention Center escapee; Do not approach

MANNING – A man has escaped from the Clarendon County Detention Center and could be in the Alcolu Area, according to the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office.

“We are searching for a white male approximately 5 feet 10 inches in height and approximately 160 pounds with gray and black hair,” said Clarendon County Sheriff Tim Baxley. “He is wearing dark clothing. He has a tattoo on the right side of his neck that reads Melissa.”

If anyone sees this individual, please call 911 immediately and do not approach.

Law enforcement officers are actively searching for this subject.

Please be aware that officers are present in the Alcolu area.
