JULIA DAVIS
Julia Frances Davis, 87, wife of Arvin Davis Sr., died July 4 at her home.
Born in Bishopville, she was a daughter of the late Frank Edward Hall and Jennie Marie Boykin Hall.
Survivors besides her husband include two sons, Donnie (Joan) Davis of Summerton and Arvin "Buddy" (Cindy) Davis of Sumter; three daughters, Jeanette (Bob) Moye, Deborah (Eddie Coker) Frierson, and Judy (Bill) Ardis, all of Sumter; three brothers, Herbert Hall of Chester, Harris Hall of Summerton and Frank J. Hall of Mississippi; one sister, Dorothy Albrighton of Sumter; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 20 step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held July 7 at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Tanner and the Rev. Donnie Collins officiating. Burial was held in Zoar Community Cemetery.
The family received friends at the home, 1033 Boulevard Road.
