JOHNNIE MAE COOPER BENBOW

Johnnie Mae Cooper Benbow, 86, widow of James Henry Benbow, died on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

She was born on Aug. 7, 1934, a daughter of the late John Fleet Cooper and Hattie Lucille McCants.

Graveside service for Mrs. Benbow will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Green Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1260 Green Hill Church Road, Alcolu, with the Rev. Delbert H. Singleton Jr., pastor, officiating, and Prophetess Sylvia Whitaker, the Rev. Mary Rose Hagan and the Rev. W.J. Frierson Sr. assisting.

Due to COVID-19, the family is not receiving visitors.

These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
