JOHN RIDGEWAY

John Francis "Bo Jack" Ridgeway, 72, husband of the late Christine Driggers Ridgeway, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at his home after a long illness.

Born Dec. 15, 1938, in Lake City, he was a son of the late Henry Walter Ridgeway and the late Violet Weaver Ridgeway. He was a member of New Start Community Church and a retired convenience store operator.

Survivors include three sons, John (Cristal) Ridgeway of Sumter and James (Glenda) Ridgeway and Bob (Mechelle) Ridgeway, both of Manning; a daughter, Penny (Gary) Weatherly of North Carolina; two brothers, Roy (Peggy) Ridgeway of Hardeeville and Alva (Maryetta) Ridgeway of Sumter; a sister, Catherine (Tommy) Ridgeway of Manning; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Aug. 30 at New Start Community Church in Manning with the Rev. Dale Turner officiating.
