JOHN MARION BROGDON

GREENVILLE - John Marion Brogdon, 66, widower of Terri Mason Brogdon, died on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at the Medical University of South Carolina hospital in Charleston.

Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Oscar Lindsey Brogdon and Victoria Emma Hawkins Brogdon. Mr. Brogdon was a retired engineer with the city of Greenville.

Surviving are two daughters, Alysia Brogdon Blakely of Easley and Brandy Wyatt of Pickens; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Kelly Brogdon of Greenville.

He was preceded in death by a son, John Marion Brogdon Jr.

Private graveside services will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery with the Rev. Jim Johnson officiating.

A memorial service will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Ty's Food & Spirits, 326 Wade Hampton Blvd., Greenville.
