JOHN C. DOUBLES

The Rev. Dr. John Carroll Doubles, 49, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at his home in Manning.

Born May 10, 1961, in Abingdon, Va., he was the son of Malcolm Carroll and Jacqueline McLeod Doubles. He was minister and a member of Santee Presbyterian Church and a member of the Charleston-Atlantic Presbytery.

Surviving in addition to his parents of Laurinburg, N.C., are a daughter, Alexandra McLeod Doubles of Hartsville; a brother, Malcolm McLeod Doubles of Troutville, Va.; and a sister, Mary Blake Nickles of Anderson.

Memorial services were held Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at Santee Presbyterian Church, 306 Bradford Blvd., Santee, with the Rev. Deck Guess officiating.
