JEREMY HAYNSWORTH PITTS

IRMO - Jeremy Haynsworth Pitts, age 42, beloved husband of five years to Tia Gayle Brown Pitts, died on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022.

Born in Sumter, he was a son of Grace Ellen Jackson McDuffie and the late William Carroll Pitts. Jeremy graduated in 2003 from The Citadel, where he was a member of the Alumni Club. He was employed with Renu Energy Solutions. He was an avid Gamecock fan. He had an infectious smile that would light up a room. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are two children, Jackson Haynsworth Pitts and Harper Lily Pitts; one sister, Allison Pitts Rogers; and in-laws, Jimmy and Tracy Ardis and Ricky Brown.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ryan Jackson Pitts; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wade Jackson.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday at Bullock Funeral Home.
