Funeral services for Janet Wilson will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 14 N. Brand St., Sumter. Interment will follow at Mayesville Community Cemetery, Mayesville.

A public viewing will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. today.

She was born on March 25, 1958, in Sumter, to Helen Davis Wilson and the late Edgar Wilson.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jalisa Wilson.

She departed this life on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, in Sumter.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a companion, Theodore Dingle; two sons, Christopher (Andrea) Wilson and Jeremy Johnson; three daughters, Janay Dingle, Jawana Wilson and Janeen; three sisters, Sandra (Robert) Knight, Valerie Wilson and Wanda Torrence; three brothers, Sir Victor (Kim) Wilson, Oscar Wilson and Michael Wilson; nine grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 112 Gulf Ave., Sumter. Please use COVID-19 protocol.
