James "Jimmy" W. Holladay Sr., 75, husband of Jerry Bryant Holladay, died Friday, May 17, 2019, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence.

Born Nov. 4, 1943, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Herbert Holladay and Levennie Miles Holladay. Mr. Holladay was a member of Graham Baptist Church. He was also a member of Sumter Masonic Lodge No. 365. He retired from Santee Print Works and currently worked with Waste Management Inc.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years; a daughter, Robin H. Watson (Burke) of Sumter; a son, James "Jamie" W. Holladay Jr. (Rene) of Sumter; five grandchildren, Brianna Gibson (Blair), Will Watson, Mary Grace Watson, Trey Holladay and Emily Holladay; one great-granddaughter, Hope Holladay Gibson; two sisters, Burnette Geddings of Manning and Mary Frances Tobias (Leon) of Alcolu.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Graham Baptist Church with the Rev. John Patrick and the Rev. Blair Gibson officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Will Watson and Trey Holladay; grandson-in-law, Blair Gibson; and nephews, Larry Geddings, David Geddings and Alvin Tobias.

Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Men's Sunday School Class of Graham Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of Burke and Robin Watson, 3325 Gristmill Lane, Sumter.
