JAMES L. WATERS

Memorial service for James Lynwood Waters, 86, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Waters passed away Monday, July 8, 2024. Born in Leesville, he was a son of the late Jones and Lena Cockrell Waters. He was a Vietnam veteran, retired from the U.S. Air Force and delivered mail in the Lexington area for over eight years.

Surviving are his daughter, Jamie Waters; grandchild, Ashley Mahon; nieces, Debbie Lewis (Robert) and Susan Griffin (Dan); and nephew, Charlie Waters (Kendra).
