MANNING -- Janie Allene Tisdale Garner, 77, died Friday, May 28, 2010, at Lake Marion Nursing Home in Summerton.
Born Aug. 26, 1932, in Williamsburg County, she was a daughter of the late Nathaniel and Eloise Morris Tisdale. She was retired from Exide. She was of the Church of God faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Elaine Fiddie and Evelyn Lamb of Manning; a sister, Bertha Mae Welch of Manning; two brothers, Fred Tisdale and James Edward Phipps of Kingstree; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 30 in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home in Manning. Burial followed in Kingstree Memorial Gardens in Kingstree.
Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
