Ira Hickmon, 72, was born on Nov. 1, 1951, and departed this life on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery with inurnment to follow in the columbarium.
Ira is survived by a host of loving relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Services have been entrusted to JP Holley Funeral Home and Crematory Northeast Chapel.
