Here's where to go for early voting in Sumter, Clarendon and Lee counties

Early voting is under way in Clarendon, Sumter and Lee counties, and residents have four locations to choose from to cast their ballot in Sumter, two in Lee and one in Clarendon. The early voting period for the statewide general election began Monday, Oct. 21, and will end Saturday, Nov. 2.

Remember to bring your photo ID when checking in to vote.

You can vote from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at one of these locations in Sumter. The Sumter County Voter Registration and Elections office is the former Sumter Item building. The new Sumter Item building location on West Liberty Street is not available for early voting.

  • F.J. DeLaine Elementary School, 5355 Cane Savannah Road, Wedgefield
  • Catchall-Shaw Community Center, 2680 Peach Orchard Road
  • Eastern Community Center, 3675 E. Brewington Road

You can vote from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at one of these locations in Lee:

You can vote from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at this location in Clarendon:
