Harvin Clarendon County Library events for August

Upcoming events sponsored by Harvin Clarendon County Library, 215 N. Brooks St., include:
- Every Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. — Storytime at the Library
- Every Thursday, 10 a.m. — OATS at the Library
- Aug. 3, 5 p.m. — Knit Night at the Library — There is no need to know how to knit. Bring any craft to work on.
- Aug. 5, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Summer Reading Fun Fair at Clarendon Community Complex gymnasium located behind Weldon Auditorium. Join the library for fun, games and prizes. Please note that this event is not held at the library.
- Aug. 10, 10 a.m. — Make a T-Shirt at the Library. Create a T-shirt design in Canva and cut it out of vinyl with Cricut Explore 3. For ages 12-17, call (803) 435-8633 to register.
- Aug. 21, 5:30 p.m. — Pop Culture Trivia Night at the Library. Test your knowledge against other Pop Culture enthusiasts.
- Aug. 28, 4:30 p.m. — Genre Jumpers Book Club at the Library. Today’s book is "The Forest of Vanishing Stars" by Kristin Harmel. Genre Jumpers Book Club reads fiction and non-fiction from classics to recent releases and everything in between. Members of the club choose the titles, and all are welcome.
