Hartsville woman, 64, dies in two-vehicle wreck in Lee County

A 64-year-old Hartsville woman died in a two-vehicle wreck on U.S. 15 in Lee County Saturday.
The wreck occurred at about 10 p.m. near Woodham Road, where Blanche Ferguson was pronounced dead on scene, said Lee County Coroner Larry Logan.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol Master Trooper Brian Lee, Blanche was traveling north when she drove left of the center line and struck a Chevy truck traveling south head on. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts during the wreck.
The driver of the Chevy truck was transported to an area hospital for injuries.
