GLORIA ANNETTE REYNOLDS BENENHALEY

Gloria Annette Reynolds Benenhaley, 70, wife of Harold C. Benenhaley, died on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at her home.

Born on Nov. 19, 1950, in Hartsville, she was a daughter of the late Charles Clyde and Elsie Lee Hood Reynolds. Mrs. Benenhaley was a member of Springbank Baptist Church. She was a good Christian woman that loved her Lord. She retired from JCPenney after 28 years of service. Mrs. Benenhaley was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years; two sons, Harold Troy Benenhaley (Kristen) of Summerville and Matthew Ryan Benenhaley (Alexenderia Valentin) of Columbia; two grandchildren, Mason Harold Benenhaley and Madison Spencer Rowe; a sister, Linda R. Compton (Robert) of Sumter; a half-brother, Larry Reynolds (Jennifer) of Sumter; a half-sister, Betty June Reynolds of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Spencer Luke Rowe.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday at Springbank Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Miller officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mason Benehaley, Kelly Hughes, Alan Strater, Leland Benenhaley Jr., James Benenhaley and Donnie Hearne.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Thursday at Springbank Baptist Church and other times at the home.
