GLADYS MARIE HENDERSON

Graveside services for Mrs. Gladys Marie Henderson will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park, 2561 Cains Mill Road, Sumter, with the Rev. James Goodman, officiating. A public viewing will be held today from 1 to 6 p.m. at the mortuary.

Gladys was born Aug. 15, 1962, in Sumter, to Willie Washington Sr. and the late Gracie Mae Gardner Washington.

She departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020, in Sumter.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her companion, Jessie James; a son, Lamel Henderson; two sisters, Gilda Washington and Hazeltine (Lorenzo) Smith; a brother, Willie Washington Jr; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 2349 Crossfield Road, Sumter, from 3 to 7 p.m. daily. Please adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines.
