GAIL CATHERINE JACKSON

Gail Catherine Jackson was born on Dec. 13, 1962, in Florence County to the late Lonnie Burgess and Lease Wise Witherspoon Burgess.  She departed this life on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter.
Gail attended the Florence County Public Schools.  At an early age, she attended Emwell Freewill Baptist Church in Olanta. Later, she was a member of New Life Church in Sumter.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Emwell Freewill Baptist Church,  3050 Amwell Church Road, Lynchburg, with the Pastor O’Neal Graham, eulogist.
Interment will follow in the Emwell Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 2614 Hilldale Drive,  Sumter.
