Free COVID-19 vaccine event scheduled for Wednesday in Summerton

A COVID-19 community vaccination event will be available to Clarendon County residents tomorrow.

The free vaccination event will be held at the K&H Resource Center, 45 S. Church St. in Summerton, on Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"K&H was asked to accommodate, and we happily accepted," said Kathleen Gibson, the founder and director of K&H Resource Center.

Appointments are not required but residents are asked to bring their insurance card and a photo ID. These items are not required to receive the vaccine, and no fees will be charged.
