FLORENCE BROWN VAUGHN

Florence Brown Vaughn, 89, daughter of the late Henry McCoy and Alma Brown, was born on Nov. 8, 1935, in Sumter.  She departed this life on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Sumter Terrace Assisted Living, Sumter.
Public viewing will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 2-6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2025, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 130 Loring Mill Road, Sumter, with the Rev. Troy Cato, pastor, officiating and Dr. Ralph W. Canty Sr., eulogist.
Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Park, Sumter.
Family will receive friends at the home, 340 Green Swamp Road, Sumter.
Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
