EVELYN WARD REYNOLDS

Evelyn Ward Reynolds, widow of William Bryce "Bill" Reynolds, passed away Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, at the Gardens at Sumter.

Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late William E. Ward Sr. and Mabel Felkel Ward.

Mrs. Reynolds was a member of Paxville Methodist Church. She was a retired legal assistant with 25 years of service and was the owner and operator of her own business.

Surviving are two sisters, Betty W. Kolb of Sumter and Etta W. Shorter of Simpsonville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, William E. "Billy" Ward Jr. and Robert W. "Bobby" Ward; a nephew, William E. "Buddy" Ward III; a sister-in-law, Anne Reynolds Stewart; and a brother-in-law, Glenn Dewey "Judge" Reynolds.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Reynolds Cemetery in Pinewood with the Rev. Jeff Grubbs officiating.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
