DAVIS STATION - Eva Mae Williams Johnson, wife of Jimmy Johnson, died on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

Born Aug. 23, 1945, in Boston, Ga., she ws a daughter of Fannie Mae Williams and the late Willie Lee Williams. Her education was obtained in the public schools of Hillsborough County. She was a graduate of Marshall High School Class of 1963. During her youth, she was a member of Allen Chapel AME Church, Plant City, Fla. After moving to Englewood, N.J., in 1977, she joined Community Baptist Church and was a devoted member for 32 years. After her retirement, she relocated to Davis Station and joined Taw Caw Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Johnson of Davis Station; daughters, Monica (Larrell) Fennell of Baltimore, Md., and Nedra Johnson of Englewood; adopted daughter, Concetta McCain of Englewood; mother, Fannie Mae Williams of Plant City; three sisters, Maxine Williams of Plant City, Erma Weldon of Lakeland, Fla., and Betty Jo Hillery of Plant City; brother, Willie James (Willie Mae) Williams of Miami, Fla.; sister-in-law, Francine (Benjamin) Lemon of Baltimore; brothers-in-law, Patrick (Jervine) Johnson of Sanford, Fla., and Timothy (Gail) Johnson of Baltimore; and one granddaughter, Felicia.

Funersl services were held Saturday, Oct. 30., 2010, at Taw Caw Baptist Church, Summerton, with Dr. William T. Johnson, pastor, officiating.

Interment followed in the Taw Caw Baptist Church cemetery.

The family received friends at the home, 2053 M.W. Rickenbaker Road, Manning.
