EUGENE AUBREY MCFADDIN III

GABLE - Eugene Aubrey "Mac" McFaddin, III, 61, husband of Frances Ann "Fran" Surette McFaddin, died Saturday, September 4, 2010, at his home.

Born March 27, 1949, in Sumter, he was the son of Miriam Green McFaddin and the late Eugene Aubrey McFaddin Jr.

Survivors besides his wife and mother of Gable include a stepdaughter, Megan Barbara Sims of Florence; two brothers, Sidney Edward "Sid" McFaddin, and Robert Scott McFaddin and his wife, Sue, of Gable; a sister, Suzanne M. Bacsi and her husband, Csaba, of Gable; and four nephews, Scotty, Aubrey, Colby and Blaine.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at Sardinia Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Dodd and the Rev. Billy Griffith officiating. Burial followed at Sardinia-Gable Cemetery.

Wilson DuBose, F. C. Green, Jimmy Player, John Medley, Ronnie Stewart and Charlton Dennis served as pallbearers.
