Ernest James Porter Sr., 102, widower of Rosa Lee Levon Porter and Hattie M. Porter, died Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation Center, Sumter. Born in Sumter on March 27, 1922, he was the son of the late David E. Porter and Anna Peoples Porter.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 1440 Broadwater Drive, Sumter.
