DOROTHY CHRISTINE WILSON KIRKLAND

Dorothy Christine Wilson Kirkland, 74, widow of Nathaniel Kirkland and daughter of the late Ernest Lee Wilson Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Williams Wilson, was born on March 15, 1951, in Mayesville. She departed this life on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Sumter East Health and Rehabilitation Center, Sumter.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, starting at 2 p.m. and family visitation from 5-7 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Ebenezer AME Church, 119 E. Sumter St., Mayesville, with the Rev. Leo Chapman Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow in Mayesville Community Cemetery, Mayesville.
Family will receive friends at the home of her brother, 216 Curtiswood Ave., Sumter, daily from 4-7 p.m.
